The Water Quality Dashboard is an online tool that allow users worldwide to view information about water quality in various towns and cities. Currently, the dashboard contains water quality data collected in small towns in Tanzania and Kenya.
The Water Quality Dashboard has two main components, a map viewer and an information panel. The information panel is also subdivided into two components;
(1) Water point information, including Town, Water point ID, Type of water source and the Location of a water point on the map.
(2) The water quality results, including water quality data in tabular and graphical format and a picture of a water point (if captured). In order to view water point data, the user has to select from the relevant country and town from the information panel, where water points were capture. This information will be displayed on the map-viewer.
By clicking on any of the water points shown on the map-viewer, details about that water point will be displayed in the information panel. The water point information displayed on the information panel includes, Water point ID, Water source, Location of the water point in the ward, Date of sample and Water quality results. The information panel may also include a picture of the water point (if captured).
